About Us
Our company name is taken from the old English word for badger - Brock. What distinguishes Badgers from their relatives is their extraordinary physical and emotional strength and tenacious approach to life's challenges. We believe that our business encapsulates these same qualities. We have a tenacious approach to helping our clients overcome the challenges they face in the business world.
Our senior staff have extensive experience in a number of fields and proven track records that demonstrates their determination and commitment to business success. Additionally they all share a passion for excellence and an understanding of the need for continuous improvement.
Management Team
David is leading senior manager in the UK building services industry. He has held Directorships with 2 major UK construction groups - Haden Young and AMEC. His career has encompassed senior strategic and operational management roles with profit responsibility within the UK and abroad (Africa and the Middle East) all requiring the need to identify and implement continuous improvement and in some cases to rescue and reposition failing businesses to ensure their ongoing success. Eric holds a B.A. (Hons) in Business Studies, a Master of Philosophy (title of the research thesis, 'Relationship between Marketing Strategy and Company Performance in the UK Construction Industry') and the Diploma of the U.K. Chartered Institute of Marketing. Senior Associates
Dr. Norma Barry
Norma completed her Ph.D in Leadership and Change Management. She has an MBA from Cardiff Business School and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management and a Member of the Institute of Directors. A Prince II qualified project manager and a trained facilitator, Norma is also an experienced coach and mentor.
Norma has extensive senior leadership experience in the public sector and has worked in a number of key economic and regeneration policy areas, such as the energy and steel industries, business and the environment, development and marketing of the food and drink sector and community regeneration. Much of her time has been spent working at the interface between the public and private sectors.
She is an experienced strategist having developed and implemented strategies and action plans in various policy areas.
Chris Mardon
Chris holds an honours degree in Engineering Design. He was appointed Managing Director of English Corrugating Paper Co. Ltd. at the age of 36 and oversaw the introduction of modern management techniques in the areas of sales, marketing, financial control, computerisation, production costing and HR. He managed the changes that were necessary to secure the BS 5750 quality control standard for the company in 1993, maintaining its accreditation up to the current ISO9001: 2000 standard. Chris managed the sale of the company's manufacturing facility and site in 2006.
Arwyn Williams
Arwyn holds a BSc in Economics and an MBA (Marketing) from Queensland University, Australia. He has a broad range of experience and practical skills developed over significant periods with several blue chip companies including Lucas Varity and Sony. Arwyn has developed strengths in marketing research (particularly qualitative research) and strategic planning processes. He has a particular interest in developing effective promotional strategies and client relationship procedures.
